Working our magic in Neukölln
In only four weeks we transformed a rather unspectacular-looking building in the trendy district of Berlin Neukölln into a real eye-catcher. The classic turn-of-the-century stucco façade had already disappeared beneath modern insulation years ago. In close collaboration with the parties involved, the decision was made to use grisaille-style shading to give the approx. 500-sqm façade a three-dimensional appearance.

“The painters from GRACO did not so much paint the stucco as the effect of the stucco, in light, on the façade, and in this they succeeded beautifully.”
Thomas Wieckhorst, editor-in-chief of bauhandwerk and dach+holzbau
