The world’s tallest bookshelf
The 33-metre-high eye-catcher in Schwerin illustrates how façade design can also represent the people living in a building or quarter: it is local residents’ favourite books and objects that are depicted on the shelves. The shelves are aligned with the existing structure of the concrete slabs.

The shelves of the giant library, painted in acrylic paint, follow the structure of the concrete slabs.
